Devotional poetry

Poetry for the journey of faith

A quiet welcome for anyone walking their Christian journey, one faithful step and one honest line at a time.

From my amateur pen.

I gazed into the sky one nightAnd saw that God was there. The very God who made the worldsHis power to declare.

The stars were twinkling in the sky,As far as eye could see.The longer you would look up thereThe more you thrill with glee

Now "Rigel" and star "Betelgeuse"Shone brightly in "Orion's Belt"With all the stars in "Pleides"My being was numb; that's how I felt

The moon was hanging out in space,And shed a softer light. It was as if it smiled at me,All through the moonlit night.

Dear friend of mine.........When you have time some starry night,Make sure you stop and stare.A grand surprise will meet your sight,As you behold your Maker there.
